Who Am I?
My name is Katy and I’m married to Dan who is currently active duty military.
We have three children together, 2 girls and 1 boy.
We are first generation christians and homeschoolers.
We value changing the course for our family and leaving a legacy that will affect our family for generations to come.
I was born and raised in New Jersey and my husband and I lived there together for ten years before he was transferred to Florida.
I miss the seasons of the northeast and the culture there as well as my family and our church family there.
What do I do?
I have been caring for our family and home since 2013 and I have grown and learned so much about organizing, cleaning and routines. I enjoy it so much and I feel so blessed to have this job but I did not always feel this way. I hope I can teach you some skills to better care for your home and family while actually enjoying it.
I love making our home beautiful and I have a passion and love for cultivating timeless beauty in our home. There are many a weekends where I can be found painting or thrifting and scheming up a new project. I have been rearranging furniture and redecorating rooms since my childhood and I’m so thankful that my mom gave me the room to do that. I hope to inspire you and teach you new skills and show you that you can make your home beautiful with a small budget and a few nap times.
A Few Random Facts About Me
I love a cozy afternoon with a good book and a cup of tea.
I love the mountains and spending time outdoors.
I hope to own some land some day, where my children can run free and I can grow a big beautiful garden of produce.
I love traveling and I especially love Europe.
